Based on previous known numbers, including past years, I found fault with the numbers reported by Border Patrol agent and union representative Chris Cabrera ... I don't think he is reporting the numbers for the entire Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector

"In March, 7,500 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, which includes McAllen, Cabrera told CBS News. That’s up from 2,800 in January. In February, nearly 4,800 illegals were arrested in the Rio Grande, the local news website The Monitor.com reports."

just as I thought, Border Patrol agent and union representative Chris Cabrera
is reporting only the McAllen Station numbers in the above article

According to BP spokesperson Henry Mendiola Jr., in December, agents at the McAllen Station alone arrested 2,758 people.. The number held steady during January, when agents arrested 2,815 people. In February, agents arrested 4,777 people.

The Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector includes:

    Brownsville Station
    Corpus Christi Station
    Falfurrias Station
    Fort Brown Station
    Harlingen Station
    Kingsville Station
    McAllen Station
    Rio Grande City Station

Bryan Roberts, who used to evaluate border and immigration programs for the Department of Homeland Security, "To catch 90 percent of all illegal crossers — which is what the Senate bill demands — the Border Patrol would have to triple the number of agents on the ground from 20,000 to 60,000." http://www.npr.org/2013/06/11/190741...0#commentBlock

Critics say the government often is too fixated on high-technology solutions. C. Stewart Verdery Jr., a former Homeland Security official who now runs a lobbying firm, said federal officials should instead focus their limited resources on making it harder for illegal immigrants to work in the United States, an approach that would serve as an effective deterrent.

“Where are you going to get the biggest bang for the buck?” Mr. Verdery said.
“Enforcement of the workplace is probably the best area to invest more dollars.”

Rand Paul wants to eliminate E-Verify, the most-effective tool, we, the people have, to prevent illegal immigration #DontStandWithRand

If illegal immigrants couldn't get a job, or collect entitlements, they wouldn't cross our border, except to visit.

Mandating, and ENFORCING, E-Verify, for all jobs, and any entitlement, with harsh prosecutions of any offending employer, as well as the offending illegal immigrant, will do more to stop illegal immigration, than any futile attempt to secure the border, and also do it much faster, and at far less expense. At the same time, a mandatory, and ENFORCED, E-Verify could immediately provide jobs for millions of Americans

Eight million illegal immigrants, are continuing to break our laws, by using false, or stolen, SS numbers, to work in, non-agriculture, ON-THE-BOOKS, American jobs (DHS knows where they work, and who they are).. Less than 7% of employers are presently using E-Verify. ... E-Verify has a 99.71% accuracy rate (per recent Congressional testimony) ... For every illegal immigrant working, at an on-the-books job, an American isn't...

Simply put, E-Verify is, by far, the single most-effective tool we, the people have, to prevent illegal immigration. http://bit.ly/gO6lYf

E-VERIFY NOW!! Full Name? Birthdate? Social Security Number?

Illegal immigrants who broke our laws when they crossed our border; or overstayed their visas. Then came document fraud, identity theft, and illegal employment. We are a nation of laws; we do not reward those who wantonly break our laws. undocumented workers are tapping into an IRS loophole – a loophole that allows illegal immigrants to claim billions of dollars in tax credits....CONGRESSIONAL TESTIMONY........ 2.3 million illegals received $4.3 billion in EITC tax refunds in 2010 http://forumsforjustice.com/forums/s...69&postcount=1

The 1986 Reagan Amnesty was initially projected to provide citizenship to the, between
1.1, and 1.3, million illegal aliens
thought to be in our United States at the time ....
Almost 3.5 million illegal aliens received citizenship.

In addition, based on the Reagan 1986 amnesty, for each person who received amnesty,
Chain Migration http://forumsforjustice.com/forums/s...73&postcount=1 added 5 more, poverty-level, immigrants.

Is poverty-level population growth good for the national interest?
Do we really want millions of poverty-level illegal immigrants to receive amnesty?
Aren't our entitlement programs overburdened enough already?

End Chain Migration. Stop burdening American taxpayers with the poor from other countries. Stop weakening our America.

If we, the people, choose to help the poor, and destitute, from other countries, we will do so in their countries, not in ours.

Instead, increase H1B visas for educated, and skilled, workers, and let's add taxpayers, not poverty-level illegal immigrants.

    --------------------------------------------------

Since the 1986 Reagan Amnesty, 5.5 million anchor babies have been born to illegal immigrants, at a cost of many 100's of billions of dollars to American taxpayers, and that is just for birth, and education. Now, in addition, there is a burgeoning birthright citizenship tourism industry among Chinese in America. http://bit.ly/fvesJQ

Illegal immigrants pay coyotes, $3,000, or more, to cross the border. Now, the Gang of 8 wants illegal immigrants to only pay a paltry $1,000 fine to receive citizenship. What's up with that?

up to 3,000 illegals/day are paying coyotes $3,000, or more, to cross the border, while the Gang Of 8 wants to fine illegals a paltry $1,000

    ------------------------------------------------------

What would your, we, the people, statement-on-a-stick, anti-illegal immigration sign say?

we, the people, can take matters into our own hands, by becoming proactive ...WHAT IF? ... as well as trying to win the illegal immigration battle against overwhelming odds, with emails, and petitions, to those who aren't listening ... that being the illegal immigrants themselves, their very well organized advocates, the news media, the Democratic legislators, the Republican legislators seemingly desperate to win Hispanic votes, and President Obama, nonetheless .... we, the people, can reduce the battle down to where we, as individuals with nothing to lose, and everything to gain, can hit illegal immigrants where it hurts, by staging a protest at the their weakness, that being a nationally franchised retail business employing illegal immigrants, with customers to lose, and nothing to gain ... and if that isn't enough impetus for you. you will be joined by two, three, four, or even five, or more, like-minded persons, maybe even some of the people that want those jobs, to assist you ... and if that wasn't enough, we also have the law on our side. .... when we begin to take the jobs away from illegal immigrants .... we take away the reason illegal immigrants are here .... let it begin now, and let it begin with you .... openly boycott businesses that are employing illegal immigrants, and encourage your friends to do the same .... if a business isn't using E-Verify, they are highly likely to be employing illegal immigrants.

SAY YES to H.R. 2278, the "Strengthen and Fortify Enforcement (SAFE) Act" http://bit.ly/11cDfKZ

When it comes to illegal immigration, states, and localities, need the ability to effect/enforce federal law. There are literally 100's of 1,000's of criminal illegal immigrants avoiding deportation, because of the current inability, of local law enforcement, and local courts, to obtain federal cooperation on these issues.

There were 225,390 CRIMINAL illegal aliens deported, in FY2012.

According to law enforcement, the above number only represents the tip of the iceberg, relative to the number of criminal illegal immigrants presently in our country. Local law enforcement currently finds its hands tied in dealing with these problems, thus the need for the SAFE ACT
